LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table Review
We purchased this toy after I had seen a similar item at a friend's house. My daughter has loved it since she was able to sit up on her own. We play with it without the legs until she was able to stand. It's not really sturdy enough for her lean on, so you need to be close by while your child is still unsteady on her feet. Now that she is completely comfortable running around the house (15 months), she still loves this table. The music is great and minimally annoying for adults. We like the jazzy scat and trombone solo. It's good for at least a few minutes of entertainment at a time and she goes back to it frequently to get new songs to play. I wasn't surprised to see that our daycare also has one.

The sturdy, plastic-molded, brightly colored table sits flat on the floor for babies to play at while sitting. You can attach the table's legs to adjust it to accommodate toddlers' play while standing. And it offers plenty of activities at different levels of learning to keep your child entertained for these early developmental years. Your child will delight in spinning the maraca to hear a fun rendition of the ABC song; playing the colored piano keys to practice motor skills and learn about colors; moving the trombone's slide to count to 10; and sliding the cello to learn about up and down. Kids can tap on the colorful drum and learn about colors and primary shapes, too. Then, by flipping the pages of the "book" to go from the Learning Mode to the Music Mode, kids can hear more than 40 songs and melodies, including nursery rhymes and fun individual instrument sounds that will have them singing and dancing.

My 12 month old started pulling up recently and he LOVES this toy. Anytime we put him down in his playroom, he goes straight for his activity table. I'd say it's a must-have. We (and more importantly, he) find the sounds enjoyable and fun; certainly not annoying.

The toy just like any new toy kept their attention for the first two days. However, as you show them the different features, and then remove/add the legs to the toy, After 6 months, they boys still play with the toy, not as much as in the beginning, buy this is a staple in our day to day entertainment and teaching for the boys.
