Melissa & Doug Going Places Floor Puzzle - 48 Piece Review
These puzzles have nice, large, colorful pieces and my son doesn't mind that all 4 puzzles are mixed together in the box. He enjoys separating them out based on the shapes on the back of the puzzle pieces. My only qualm about these is that not all the pieces actually snap together. Some just lay next to one another until the pieces on top of them get snapped in. So we have to keep pushing the pieces back together or else I have to hold them in place while he finds the other pieces to go on top. For example, none of the pieces in the whole bottom row of the train puzzle actually snaps together. I'm not sure why they were designed this way. It could be very frustrating for a kid to keep knocking these pieces out of alignment. The rest of the pieces fit together just like a regular jigsaw puzzle. I don't have any other Melissa and Doug puzzles so I don't know if this is normal for them.

Great puzzles, terrible packaging - SA-SL-W -
These are great puzzles and my son loves them, but the packaging is terrible. The pieces for each puzzle come in a non-reusable plastic bag, with all 4 bags tossed in the box. That means that every time he wants to do one of the puzzles, he has to sort out the pieces first. They did think to put a pattern on the back, but just putting a divider in the box would have sufficed. Supply 4 of your own ziplock bags and it's a great toy.

My 5 year old got this puzzle for his birthday last year and it has been a hit ever since. Now my 2-1/2 year old plays with it constantly. I love the fact that it is thicker than other puzzles which makes it easier for him to handle. He loves that it is four puzzles in one box and of course that it is transportation. I am getting this for a gift for a friend's little boy who is turning 3. I think it will be a big hit.
AWESOME PUZZLE - Busy Momma -
I love the fact that there are four mini puzzles in the box. My 3 year old son flips the pieces over to match the shapes on the back. Once he separates the pieces, he usually watches me put the puzzles together. The pieces and box are VERY sturdy and durable.
